Oh Merlin, you win again, sir.
FriendFeed, which has quickly become the platform of choice for the web’s least interesting narcissists — and the slow-witted woodland creatures who enjoy grooming their fur…
From here.
From a conversation with Eric (about the—very clearly—prettiest girl in my class).
Everyone was outside the class till 5 mins before
then they all went in and i was last
she was sitting right near the door
and someone held the door open sort of
and then i walked in
and they let go
and i didnt know it was spring-loaded
and it hit me
and i sort of laughed like you do when you know something mildly embarrassing just happened when you are supposed to be trying your hardest to impress people
and i think she sort of smiled knowingly at the whole incident
I don’t like to post videos, and tech stuff in particular, but this guy is the future. I saw another of his demos back in 2006, and both the technology and the creativity have increased significantly. The ability to overlay filters and have two users work at the same time is fascinating. If/when this technology reaches the masses, not only will it change the way people interact with UI, but also the way people perceive the computing experience—something that is currently seen as a solitary activity that often attempts to recreate the social interactions that it replaces in a user’s life.
Whoa—got a little high concept there.
